# 85 Nathan Delaney is the name of today in the 50cc and PeeWee divisions.
Youth racing is off and running, Dalton Bloom and Jake Ross is setting are setting the pace.. Dalton hangs on to win it !!!!
The C Event was almost 300 riders strong, YIKES… It looked like lemmings coming through scoring on lap 1, but the course has enough length to allow riders to spread out. Jerod Stoner came to visit and ride the Sportman Class, actually we had a few well seasoned riders taking a fun ride in the morning event.
Main Event 1PM, 200 riders strong, a stacked AA line, Pro riders from ECEA, NEOC, GNCC, JDAY, VCHSS and local MX all gathered to claim the top spot at Delaware. The early pace was set with Tegan Temple, Jesse Groemm, Nick Davis. Kyle Hangos, Ryder Lafferty, Craig Delong all kept those top 3 in close sign in case of a bobble. After 5 laps it came down to Tegan and Nick with Nick placing a lapper in between Tegan and himself at the scoring lane. GREAT Ride Nick Davis for your first ever ECEA Overall win. Nick was an early ECEA FastKID.
Tegan Temple took the 2nd spot at DER but closed the 2014 ECEA Championship Hare Scramble season as the Overall Champion. Congratulations Tegan.
Great Racing at CDR. Approximately 170 youth riders have taken over Ormond Farms. Intense battles in the 50cc and PeeWee divisions. Youth racing was underway on Saturday. Dalton Bloom was leading after 5 laps with 2 laps to go, Dalton took the top spot with Hunter Harbs behind in 2nd. Jake Ross looked like top contender but a stump in a long open section stunned his ride. However Jake finished and earned some points for the day.
7 am Sunday – Sign-up is open. The sun is coming up. Going to be a perfect day in NJ to go racing!
Time to ride! 150 Morning riders were staged and ready for a 10am start.
Top 3 Morning Event Riders: Matt Beckett, Jake Ross, and Hunter Harbs. Megan Horseman took 1st in the Women’s Class and 11th overall.
Great racing in the main, Ryder Lafferty got out front on lap one and held it to the flag. Tegan Temple 2nd after closing in on Ryders back tire a few times, Joey Ferraro took 3rd overall from the AOpen class. Kyle Tino and Luke Ross testing the waters in the A classes both had top 10 Overall rides.. ECEA FastKIDZ are coming your way..
Pine Barons had it dialed in for these kids. The 50cc Event has been completed. Nathan Dulaney and Jaden Palmer had a battle royale with #85 Nathan taking the win.
At 1:30 the PeeWee riders were off and running…Joey Rainone was leading after lap one. Great racing until the end…Top 3 were Rainone, Wojcik, and Williams.
The Youth Race was a kicker – great battles in all classes. Dalton Bloom took it wire to wire…
There was a small glitch with a down ribbon where approx 15 riders took short lap.. we did the best thing and adjusted those laps to there median times.. 3-5 minutes were added on lap 2 to these rider.. Corrected results are online now.
